OPSC introduces recruitment for the post of Civil Judges under the law department of government of Orissa. Eligible candidates in judicial services can apply for the post.

Important dates:
Beginning date of applying Online: 8/3/2013
Last date of applying online: 10/4/2013
Last date of fee receipt: 12/4/2013
Examination will be held in the month of may.

No. of seats available: There are total 24 posts available for the post:
For the SC individuals: 4 seats
For the ST Individuals: 5 seats
For the Unreserved individuals: 12 seats
For S.E.B.C Individuals: 3 seats

Written examination Procedure:

The examination will be conducted offline.
The examination will be done in various modes i.e. General English and procedural laws.
The General English will include essay writing, précis writing, passage writing of 300 words. The paper will consist of 150 marks.
The Procedural Laws will include code of criminal and civil procedure of 150 marks each.

From the list of Subjects, Individuals may choose any of the three subjects:
Law of Crime and Law of torts
Personal law
Law of property
Law of Contract
Jurisprudence and constitution of India
After the written exam, shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview. Interview will be conducted of 100 marks.
It’s necessary for the candidates to have a minimum of 40 % marks in all the modes of examination.

Age applicability:
Candidates’ age must be from less than 23 years and must not be above 35 years.

Instructions:
Please bring all the attested certificates photo copy at the time of interview.
The center of examination will be at places: Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, berhampur, sambalpur.
Once the center of the examination will be selected, it will not be change.
Please fill the application form carefully for the recruitment as once the entries are filled, will not be changed.

Download the application form from the site.
Fill all the entries carefully, once the entries will be filled will not be altered.
Rs.300 will be charged for the candidates applying for the recruitment through the challan downloaded from the site to any State bank of India.
Send the application form and the necessary certificates to the address through the registered post to the Seceratary, OSPC, 19, Dr.P.K. Parija road, Cuttack-753001
