Bank’s Name: Federal Bank
Exams For: Law Officer (Sc 1 & 2)/ PO (Probationary Officer),
Asstt Manager (Sc 1) and Clerk.
Educational and Age Requirements (As On 1-09-’13):
For the Post of Clerks:
Applicants
should have Graduation (Science) with at least 55 %( 50% for other streams).
Work Experience is not mandatory.
Age of the
candidate must be within 24 years.
IMP Point:
Applicants
must be the residence of only the following states: West Bengal, Rajasthan,
Odisha, , Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, National Capital Region (NCR), Maharashtra,
Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Gujarat.
For the Post of Assistant Managers Scale One:
Applicants
should have Graduation with at least 60 % and
min. 5 years of work ex as clerk or
1 year as Officer or 2 years in
working with Insurance Area or Non Banking Financial Institutions (NBFC) or 1
year work ex as clerk and holding the qualification JAIIB.
Age of the
candidate must be within 35 years.
For the Post of Probationary Officers:
Applicants
should have Graduation with at least 60 %.
Age of the
candidate must be within 26 years. Work Experience is not mandatory.
IMP Point:
Applicants
must be the residence of only the following states: Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil
Nadu
For the Post of Law Officers- Scale One and Scale Two:
Applicants
should Law Graduate with at least 50 % and should have work ex of minimum 4
years (6 years for Scale 2 law Officers) in solving cases related to the crimes
and civil matters or holding rank as
Law Officer in Scheduled Commercial Bank.
Age of the
candidate must be within 35 years for the both the scales.

Exam Pattern/Scheme:
The test for
all the posts comprises of Five Sections covering 200 Questions of 200 Marks.

marking of 1/4th marks will be allotted for each incorrect answer.
Paper medium will be English only and each question has 4/5 options out of
those one has to select.
Syllabus of Exam:
Computer Knowledge: Computer
Hardware/Software, Functions, short
cuts used in MS Office & for other computer work etc.
English: Paragraph,
Jumbled Sentences, Fill in the Blanks, Error Detection, Word
Power etc.
General Intelligence: Making Series, Judgment, Coding-Decoding, Courses of
Action, Drawing Inferences, Syllogism, Pattern, Sequence, Input Output Series, Analogy, Relationship etc.
Professional Knowledge: This section is mainly for Law Officer Exam, therefore
the questions will related to the terminology and facts related to the Law
area.
GA (General Awareness): The main area includes banking industry which includes
terminology/words used in banks. The questions may be from other areas of the
economy also.
Quantitative Aptitude/ Arithmetic Ability: Money & Time, Roots, Operation
on Numbers, Chain Rule, Ratio and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Time Speed &
Distance, Mixture & Alligation, Average,Problems on age, Trains etc.
Charges for Registration:
Nil/ No
Charge for any applicant.
Manner to Apply for the Posts:
Candidates
require filling up the online application form and complete the details
thereon. The registration submitted successfully will be sent mail within the 3
days of applying. Keep the form preserved for future use. Also have the valid
Email Id and Electronic files of image and
signature for registration purpose.
