Description of HPMT Exam 2015 :
Examination Name- HPMT (Haryana Pre-Medical Test) 2015
Offered Courses- MBBS and BDS
Limitation of Age- Students who wish to apply for the HPMT 2015 should fall under the age limit of 17 years to 25 years. Candidates who do not fall within this age limit are not eligible to apply for the medical test.
Academic Qualification- Candidates should have passed Class 12th / Intermediate with Physics, Biology and Chemistry from a reputed Board. Candidates appearing for Class 12th examination are also eligible to apply. Candidates should be residents of Haryana or should have completed their senior secondary education from colleges / schools in Haryana.
Pattern of Examination- The question paper of HPMT 2015 will be based on the syllabus of Class 11th & 12th from Biology, Botany, Chemistry and Physics subjects. The question paper will be divided into four sections respectively and there will be total 180 objective type questions. Each section will contain 45 questions. The question paper will be of total 720 marks, i.e. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Selection Criteria- Performance of the candidates in the Haryana Pre-Medical Test 2015 will be the criteria for their selection and admission in various medical & dental courses. Candidates who qualify the medical test will be eligible to attend the counseling for admissions.
Application Cost- Candidates can obtain the application form by making payment of INR 1200 from University Office or by ordering it by post by submitting a Demand Draft of INR 1250.
Method of Applying :
Candidates who fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria can apply by downloading the application forms from the official website of Maharshi Dayanand University : mdurohtak.ac.in or can be obtained from the University Office. Application form must be filled completely and requisite application fee should be paid as per the guidelines. After completing all the procedures candidates must send their applications to the concerned address within the scheduled date and time.
