Description of Karnataka CET Exam 2015 :

Academic Necessities- Aspirants should have passed 2nd PUC / Class 12th or any other equivalent examination from an approved Institution / Board.

Pattern of Examination- Karnataka CET 2015 is a paper pencil test comprising of four papers carrying 60 marks each (total 240 marks). The question paper will consist of objective type questions in which one mark will be awarded for each correct answer and negative marking is not applicable. OMR sheet will be provided to candidates for answering the question paper. Duration of examination will be of 1 hour / 1 hour 20 minutes.

Syllabus of Examination-

1). Biology (60 marks) : 10.30 am to 11.50 am on 29th of April, 2015
2). Mathematics (60 marks) : 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm on 29th of April, 2015
3). Physics (60 marks) : 10.30 am to 11.50 am on 30th of April, 2015
4). Chemistry (60 marks) : 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm on 30th of April, 2015

Cost of Application- Application fee is Rs.650 for General / OBC aspirants, Rs.500 for SC / ST Category-I aspirants of Karnataka, Rs.750 for aspirants residing outside Karnataka and Rs.5,000 for aspirants residing outside India. Application fee should be paid by means of Challan at any branch of Syndicate Bank / Axis Bank / State Bank of Mysore / Indian Bank / Central Bank or at any computerized Post Office.

Application Procedure :

Contenders must apply online through the official web portal of Karnataka Examination Authority : kea.kar.nic.in . After visiting the web portal contenders should click on the link ‘CET 2015’ >> ‘CET-2015 - UG Online Application’ and fill the online application form. Scanned copy of thumb impression, signature and recent passport size photograph should be uploaded by the applicants. Aspirants should make payment of the application fee and submit the online application form. Hard copy of the online application should be retained for future reference.

Payment of application fee ends on 4th of March, 2015

Date of Examination is 29th of April, 2015 & 30th of April, 2015

Kannada Language Test is on 1st of May, 2015
