MH CET Exam 2014
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHCET is the state
level entrance which is held every year by Directorate of Medical Education and
Research (DMER) for admitting eligible candidates in the medical programmes
being run in the institutes or colleges located in the state. Get more update

Overview on Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates who are willing and want to pursue medical
programmes through MH CET must possess the following eligibility standards for
the programmes:
1. The candidates should have the citizenship of India.
2. The Date of Birth of the candidate should fall before
or on 31st of Dec, 1997. In other word, the applicants who do not
comply with this age criteria are ineligible for the programmes.
3. They should have studied Science subjects (Chemistry,
Physics, and Biology) and English in their Intermediate standard.
Selection Criteria:
The candidates will be called for counseling
if they perform and score well in the entrance test. The candidates selected for the counseling
will be informed as per the schedule.
Pattern of MH CET Exam:
There will be 180 questions of Multiple Choice types
covering the sections Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. The duration to complete
entrance test is 3 hours. The entrance test will be held on 08th
May, 2014.
Admit Card Details:
The Admit Card for the written exam has been
uploaded on the DMER official website. The
candidates who have applied for the entrance test can download it by entering
their application id and password information upto dated 08th May,
2014. The Admit Card has to be brought by the candidates along with Id proof
such as school ID card etc on the date of entrance examination.
Answer Key Details:
The provisional Answer keys for the exam will
be displayed by the Board on 22nd May, 2014. The candidates can
check their answers with the help of it and if any objection occurs, the same
has to be informed to the Board upto dated 30th May, 2014.
Result Details:
The board will declare the written exam marks
on 14th June, 2014 on its official website and the merit list will
be disclosed on 25th of June, 2014. The candidates can download
their mark sheets from 26th of June, 2014.
