Tamilnadu TET:
Teacher eligibility test introduced by Tamil Nadu
organization for the recruitment of the teachers in their state for government
and private institutes both.
Test Pattern:
The selection of the candidates is based on the paper pen
test.
Paper pen test comprised of the multiple choice questions
Duration: 2 hours
Exam will be of: 150 questions.
For every correct answer, three marks will be awarded and
for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
For the teacher’s applying for the teaching in class 1st to
5th:
CD (Child development), PD (pedagogy) - It comprise of 30
quests. Of 1 mark. each.
Language-1-It comprise of 30 quests. Of 1 mark each.
Language-2-It comprise of 30 quests. Of 1 mark each.
Mathematics-It comprise of 30 quests. Of 1 mark each.
Environmental Education-It consists of 30 quests. Of 1 mark
each.
For the teachers’ applying for the teaching in the class 6th
to 8th:
Child Development and pedagogy- It comprise of 30 quests. Of
1 mark each.
Language-1- It comprise of 30 quests. Of 1 mark each.
Language-2- It comprise of 30 quests. Of 1 mark each.
Qualified candidates
in paper pencil test will be invited further for the recruitment.

Mention all the details correctly as prescribed in
certificates.
Payment will be done as per mentioned in the registration
form.
Rs.550 is payable as registration fee for the categories
except SC/ST.
For SC/ST, Rs.300 is payable as registration fee.
Dates to revoke:
Beginning date of the online registration: 17/June/2013
Ending date of the online registration: 1/July/2013
Date of the examination: 17th or 18th /August/2013.
