Information regarding UGC NET Exam 2015 :

Examination Name- UGC NET June 2015

Age Block- Age limit for the candidates applying for the post of JRF is 28 yrs as on 1st of June, 2015 and there is no age limit for candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor.

Academic Requirement- Aspirants should have completed / appearing for the Master’s degree final examination in the concerned subject or its equivalent and should have obtained minimum 50 per cent marks from an Institute / University approved by UGC.

Pattern of Examination- The UGC NET 2015 will comprise of three papers in which objective type questions will be asked. Duration of First and Second paper will be 1 ¼ hours (9:30 am to 10:45 am and 11:15 am to 12:30 pm respectively). Third paper will be of 2 ½ hours (2:00 pm to 4:30 pm respectively).

i). Paper-I :  50 out of 60 questions should be attempted (100 marks)
ii). Paper-II : All 50 questions are compulsory (100 marks)
iii). Paper-III : All 75 questions are compulsory (150 marks)

Syllabus of Examination- Paper-II and Paper-III questions will be compulsory and the questions will be asked from the entire syllabus (including all elective subjects). Syllabus of UGC NET can be downloaded from the website : ugc.ac.in .

Registration Charges- General category candidates have to pay Rs.600/-, OBC (NCL) category candidates have to pay Rs.300/- and SC / ST / PWD category candidates have to pay Rs.150/- s application fee. Candidates have to pay the application fee through Credit Card / Debit Card / System Generated E-Challan.

Procedure of Applying :
Eligible and interested candidates must fill the online application form through CBSE’s official web portal : cbsenet.nic.in . Candidates should fill the online application form and upload scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature. Candidates should make payment of the application fee and submit the online application form accordingly.

Crucial Dates :
Submission of online application closes on 15th of May, 215
Payment of application fee through E-Challan closes on 16th of May, 2015
Examination Date- 28th of June, 2015
