UPSC Exam 2014
UPSC will be holding competitive examination on 13th
July, 2014 for hiring eligible candidates as Assistant Commandant in BSF, CISF,
ITBP, CRPF and SSB. There are total 136 vacancies in CAPF. Get more update on

Name of the Examination: Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant
Commandant)
Examination Date: 13th July, 2014
Requirements of the Post:
1. The post is open for both men and women
categories. However, for ITBP forces only male candidates are eligible.
2. The candidates should have citizenship of
India and must be Indian.
3. He/she should have age in between 20 to 25
years with respect to 1st Aug, 2014. The age relaxation is also
applicable.
4. He/she should complete Graduation Degree from
the college recognized by government.
Selection Rounds:
The selection process includes Written Exam,
Physical Efficiency Test, Medical Standard Test and Personal Interview. The
final list will be drawn on merit basis.
I. Written Examination Scheme:
1. The exam consists of two Papers naming Paper
1 and Paper 2.
2. Paper 1 will consist of General Ability and
Intelligence having 250 Marks.
3. Paper 2 will consist of General Studies,
Essay and Comprehension having 200 Marks.
4. The written test will be conducted on 13th
July, 2014 from 10 AM to 12 Noon (Paper 1) and 2 PM to 5 PM (Paper 2).
5. Negative marking is present in the question paper.
6. The minimum qualifying marks in each paper
shall be determined by the Commission.

III. Personality Test/Interview: 150 Marks
Download E-Admission Card:
The candidates who have applied for the post may download
their E- Admit Card from the official website of UPSC. The Admit Card shall be
made available by the commission three weeks before the examination date. The
commission will not send Admit Card through Post.
Application Charges:
The application charges are Rs. 200/- that should be paid
by all the candidates except Female, SC & ST categories. The mode of
depositing application fee is through Challan Form paid in State Bank of India
or its associate banks. The online payment can also be made.
Mode to Apply:
The applications will be submitted through online upto 12th
May, 2014 by 11:59 PM. There is no other mode of submitting applications.
