Name of the Organization Conducting the Exam- BSF (Border Security Force)
Academic Requirement- Contenders should have passed Class 12th / Intermediate / Matriculation and should possess Diploma in Electrical / Computer /Mechanical Engineering / Domestic Appliances / Electronics / Telecommunications / Radio & TV Technology from a renowned University with minimum 55 per cent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry OR Diploma in ITI from concerned trades with Class 12th in PCM Group of subjects.
Examination Pattern-
A. Written Examination- The Written Examination will be of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) and the question paper will be divided into 4 parts. The question paper will be carrying 200 marks. Four parts of the question paper and the marks allotted to them are-
1). Part-I :- Physics (60 marks)
2). Part-II :- Mathematics (30 marks)
3). Part-III :- Chemistry (30 marks)
4). Part-IV :- English and General Knowledge (50 marks)
B. PET- The Physical Endurance Test will include 1.6 km race which is to be completed in 6.5 minutes, Long Jump of 3.65 m should be passed in 3 chances and High Jump of 1.2 m should be passed in 3 chances.
C. Dictation Test- The dictation test will be of 10 marks and will be conducted in English.
D. Personal Interview and Verification of Documents- Candidates who get qualified in the above mentioned rounds will get shortlisted for the Personal Interview and Document Verification.
