CSAT Exam 2014
CSAT [Civil Services Aptitude Test] is administered by
UPSC every year to recruit the candidates in the IAS, IFS and IPS services. The

Age Criteria: The age of the candidate should be in
between 21yrs to 30yrs as on the specific date. Age relaxation is applicable
for the reserved caste.
Educational Criteria:
Candidate should have done Bachelor Degree from the reputed college.
Attempts Limit:
Candidates
of Unreserved Category are given 6 attempts, 9 attempts for the candidates of
Other Backward Category and no restriction for Scheduled Caste applicants.

CSAT Notification Date: 17th of May, 2014
Closing Date of Application Receipt: 16th of June, 2014
CSAT Preliminary Exam Date: 24th of August, 2014
CSAT Mains Exam: 14th of December, 2014

CSAT Exam 2014:
Preliminary Test: Comprises 2
compulsory papers carrying 200 marks each and time duration 2hrs each. The
questions will be objective type.
Mains Test:
Paper 1 comprises

Marks).

Candidates
can apply online as well as offline for the exam. The availability of online
registration will be available from 17th of May to 16th
of June. Candidates also apply offline and send their complete application form
at Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi –
