Age Required:
Candidates should have reached the age of 18yrs and maximum age
should not be more than 27yrs in age as on 01/08/2014 . Age is relaxed to the candidates of the
Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Categories as per the rules
of the government.

Educational
Background:
Applicants should have passed the Intermediate from the government
recognized school/Board. Candidates
should have the typing skill in either Hindi or English.
Registration Cost:
Candidates have to deposit an amount Rs 100/- through Challan
Form/CRFS mode. This fee is applicable to only General and Other Backward
Classes candidates. Other Categories are exempted to pay the charges including
the Female candidate.
Way of Selection:
The selection of the candidates will take into account their
Written Test and Typing Test performance. Those qualify in the Written Test
will be shortlisted for the Typing Skill Test.
Way of Applying:
Candidates can apply for the Lower Division Clerk by visiting the
official website of the Staff Selection Commission. The applications can be
received through online as well as offline mode. The fee can be paid through CRFS,

Exam Outline of SSC LDC:
Written Test:
General
Awareness (50 Marks), General Intelligence (50 Marks), Quantitative
Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) (50 Marks) and English
Language (50 Marks)
There
will be 50 Questions in each section. Total Time given to complete the question
paper is 120 minutes.
Typing Test:
The mode of typing test can be either Hindi or English (choice
filled by candidate in the Application Form). For English, typing speed must be
35 words per minute and for Hindi, typing speed must be 30 words per minute.
