Examination: Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

Duration of the
courses:
A. Three years for under
graduate.
B. Two years for Post
graduate.

Courses:
i. Candidates passed in 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) can apply for
the under graduate courses.
ii. Age of the candidate
should be less than 20 (22 for SC/ST)
on 1st July, 2013.
iii. Final year students are also eligible.
Post Graduate
Courses:
i. Individuals willing
to apply in the Post graduate courses
(LLB/ B.L) must have passed in the under graduate courses with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST).
ii. Students whose final result is awaited for are also
applicable.
Procedure of
Registration:
OMR application form

of the application form is Rs. 3000/-
(Rs. 2500/- for SC/ ST).
Fees should be pay
through challan of bank/cash payment/demand draft drawn in favour of the “Registrars of the concerned NLUs”,
payable at the respective branch of
cities of their location.

Information Brochure can also be get through registered/speed post by sending a letter along with a Demand Draft of Rs.3100/- (Rs.2600/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn
in favour of “Registrar, HNLU – CLAT 2013 A/C” to be payable
at Raipur (Chhattisgarh) to:

Applicants can also apply online. Visit the
website mentioned above. Fill the application form and take a print out. Send
it with DD to the address mentioned above.
Last date of receiving the filled application form: 30th
march, 2013.
Hall Ticket:
The hall
ticket of the exam can be downloaded from the website mentioned above. Hall
ticket should be taken to the entrance exam hall.

For Under graduate:
Syllabus:
1. English
including Comprehension
2. General
Knowledge/ Current Affairs
3. Elementary
Mathematics (Numerical Ability)
4. Legal
Aptitude
5. Logical
Reasoning
There
will be total 200 multiple choice type
questions each of 1 mark. Total
marks will be 200. Time duration
is 2 hours. ¼ th marks will be
deducted for each wrong attempt.
For Post graduate:
Total marks: 150
100 marks will be of broad essay type and 50 marks will be of multiple choice type.
¼ th
marks will be deducted for each
wrong attempt.

in CLAT exam.
