SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Examination 2015 is being conducted for recruitment of talented aspirants in various positions. Details of the Examination-

Educational Requirement- Jobseekers should have obtained Graduation degree in any stream / relevant stream from an acknowledged University / Institute.
Pattern of Examination- The SSC CGL Exam comprises of three papers, i.e. Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III, they are discussed below-
A). Tier-I Examination : The examination contains 200 questions which carries 200 marks. The examination is of 2 hours and the question paper is divided into 4 parts (General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension). Each section contains 50 questions. Multiple Choice Questions will be asked.
B). Tier-II Examination : Candidates who qualify in the Tier-I examination will get eligible to appear for the Tier-II Examination. The examination will be of 2 hours and 400 questions will be asked. The question paper will be divided into 3 parts, Part-I Quantitative Abilities (100 questions), Part-II English Language & Comprehension (200 questions) and Part-III Statistics (100 questions). Part-I & II are compulsory for all the posts, whereas Part-III is only for those candidates who have applied for the post of Statistical Investigator.
C). Tier-III Examination : Tier-III will include Personality Test, Skill Test and Computer Proficiency Test. It will be as per the post applied for by the candidate.

1). General Intelligence & Reasoning : Symbolic/Number Analogy, Semantic Analogy, Semantic Classification, Figural Analogy, etc.
2). General Awareness : Geography, Economic Scene, History, Culture, Scientific Research & General Policy.
3). Quantitative Aptitude : Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Profit and Loss, Averages, Percentage, Interest, etc.
4). English Comprehension : Correct English, Basic Comprehension and Writing ability, etc.
5). Quantitative Abilities : Partnership Business, Profit and Loss, Time and distance, Discount, Mixture and Alligation, Time & Work, etc.
6). English Language & Comprehension : fill in the blanks, synonyms, spot the error, antonyms, etc.
7). Statistics : Measures of Central Tendency, Collection Classification and Presentation of Statistical Data, Measure of Dispersion, etc.
