invitation is being made by the APERC (Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory
Commission) for selecting the suitable candidates for the posts of Director
under Law/ Engineering/ Tariff. Get more update on

Age Restriction:
As on 1st
August, 2013, Applicant’s age must not be more than 62yrs.
Academic Background:
Director-Law
Those who
have pursued the Graduation in Law from recognized college is entitled for the
post. In addition to this, applicants must be practicing law and Fifteen yrs of
working experience in any reputed organization. It is presumed that the
candidate applying for the post will be having outstanding spoken and written
skills.
Extra Requirement:
Applicant
must have additional desirable qualifications that will give him/her extra edge
in the selection process. These are:
Candidate
should be backed up with Power Sector Knowledge and should have administrative
and contract law experience, along with providing legal guidance on the issues

Director -Engineering
Those who
have pursued the Graduation in Power or Electrical Engineering from recognized
college is entitled for the post. In addition to this, engineering experience
of at least 20yrs out of which min. 5yrs of work ex as holding the post at
managerial level in any Power Generating Firm.
Extra Requirement:
Proficient
in laws related to electricity and good at making up the performance standards
and analyzing them critically.
Director – Tariff
Those who
have pursued the Graduation in Power or Electrical Engineering or have the PhD
in Economics from recognized college is entitled for the post. In addition to
this, engineering experience of at least 15yrs out of which min. 5yrs of work
ex as holding the post at managerial level and have worked in tariffs
development.
Extra Requirement:
Applicants
should be experienced in Power Sector and have outstanding spoken and written
skill along with capability of demonstrating analytical models.

Paying Criteria:
The
structure of pay is Rs 37,400 to Rs 67,000 with G.P Rs 10,000/-. The other
benefits are not admissible in the pay.
Mode of Job:
The job does
not intend to take candidate permanently for the posts and thus of contractual/deputation
in nature.
