Name
of the Posts: Assistant Engineers and Junior Sub Engineers
Academic
Background:
Candidates should have done
Graduation in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or should have
completed Diploma in the same disciplines from the recognized Institution/
University.
Age
Required:
The age of the candidate should
fall in between 18yrs to 40yrs as on the mentioned date. Candidates of Scheduled
Caste/Scheduled Tribe have the age relaxation of 5yrs while the Other Backward
Classes will have the age relaxation of 3yrs as per the rules of the
government.
Scale
of Pay:
Candidates selected for the post
of Assistant Engineers will get the salary as per the Rs 15600 to Rs 39100
(Grade Pay Rs 5400) paying criteria while those selected for the Junior Sub
Engineers will get emoluments Rs 9300 to Rs 34800 ( Grade Pay Rs 4200).
Selection
Pattern:
Candidates will be selected for
the posts if they qualify the Written Exam and Personal Interview both.
Way
of Applying:
Applicants will have to apply
online for the posts. For applying online, they have to visit the official
website of the UPJN and open the link for the concerned link. Fill up the
online registration form and take the print out of it in order to send it at the
designated address.
Charges to Pay:
Candidates of Unreserved and OBC
classes have to pay Rs 1000/- and SC and ST applicants have to pay Rs 500/-
through E- Challan Form or Online Payment facilities.
Pattern
of Written Test:
The written test will have objective
multiple type questions and that will be conducted online on the designated
centers across various cities. The written test duration will be 90 minutes.
There will be 100 questions in English as well as in Hindi language carrying
total marks 100. There will be no negative marking.
