Eligibility Criteria for APSET Exam:

Educational Background: Candidates who have completed the Master Degree with at least 55% marks may apply for this exam. Get more update on recruitmentinfosite.com .5% is relaxed to the candidates of Scheduled Caste, Tribe and PhD holders Etc. 

Candidates have to appear for the exam in the same subject which they have studied in Post graduation.

Age Criteria: There in no age bar.

Paper Structure of APSET Exam:

Paper 1 Syllabus:

1. Teaching aptitude

Nature, Objectives, Characteristics, basic requirements of teaching, Factors affecting teaching, Characteristics of learners, Methods of teaching, teaching aids, Evaluation Systems.

2. Research Aptitude: 

Meaning, Characteristics and types, steps of Research, Methods of Research, Ethics of Research, Thesis Writing (Characteristics & Format), Paper, Article, Workshop, Symposium Etc.

3. Reading Comprehension            
  
A Passage to be set with questions to be answered.

4. Communication

Nature, Characteristics and types, barriers and effective classroom communication

5. Reasoning [Including Mathematics]

Number series, letter series, codes, relationship, and classification

6. Logical Reasoning

Venn diagram, Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Analyzers, Analogies, Reasoning logical diagrams Etc

7. Data Interpretation

Sources, acquisitions and interpretation of data, qualitative and quantitative data, Graphical representation and Mapping of data

8. Information and Communication Technology [ICT]

Meaning, advantages, disadvantages and uses general abbreviations and terminology, basics of Internet and E- mailing.

9. People and Environment

People and Environment Interaction, Sources of Pollution, Pollutants and its impact on Human Life, Exploitation of Natural and Energy Sources, Natural hazards and mitigation.

10. Higher Education System: Governance Polity and Administration

Structure of Institutions for higher learning and research in India, formal and distance education, professional, technical and general education in India, value education, governance, polity and administration, concepts, institutions and their interactions.

Paper 2 and Paper will contain the questions from candidate’s specialization subjects.

Examination Scheme:

Paper I contains 60 out of which 50 are compulsory

Paper II contains 50 and all are compulsory

Paper III contains 75 and all are compulsory

Total Marks: 350
