CSIR UGC NET Syllabus 2015
CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) administered UGC (University Grants Commission) NET (National Eligibility Test) 2015 is being conducted tentatively on 21st of June 2015. Details of CSIR UGC NET Syllabus 2015 :
Name of the Examination- CSIR UGC NET 2015
Educational Eligibility- Candidates should have obtained Post Graduation degree or Engineering degree with minimum 55 per cent marks from a known Institute / University.
Scheme of the Examination- The question paper will include MCQ questions which will carry 200 marks. Subjects from which questions will be asked are as follows :
1). Engineering Sciences
2). Physical Sciences
3). Chemical Sciences
4). Mathematical Sciences
5). Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
6). Life Sciences
Syllabus of Examination- The question paper will be divided into 3 parts, i.e. Part-A, B & C. It is important to note that negative marks are applicable. Details regarding syllabus of examination is discussed below-
1). Part-A : Part-A of the question paper will be common for all subjects including Engineering Sciences). The questions will be asked from General Aptitude with prominence on graphical analysis, logical reasoning, quantitative comparison, analytical and numerical ability, puzzles, series formation, etc.
2). Part-B : Part-B of the question paper will be different for Engineering Sciences and all other subjects. Engineering Sciences syllabus will include questions from Mathematics & Engineering Aptitude in this part of the question paper. Fort all other subjects the questions will be asked from subjects covering all the topics in the syllabus.
3). Part-C : In Part-C of the question paper questions will be asked from subjects covering all the topics in the syllabus in case of Engineering Sciences. For all other subjects questions will be asked from higher value questions which will focus on applicants’ knowledge of scientific concepts and / or application of the scientific concepts.
