Gujarat SET Exam 2014
The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda,
Vadodara will be conducting 10th Gujarat SET Exam 2014. The examination will be
held in 12th of October, 2014 for screening out eligible persons on

Academic Details: The candidates should have the Post
graduation degree in the relevant discipline with atleast 55% marks (50% for
reserved classes) pursued from the recognized university. Candidates appearing
in Final year exam are also eligible for apply. PhD holders also have
relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.
Age Details: There in no maximum age limit
prescribed for the SET Exam. However
the candidates of reserved class have to deposit caste certificate along with
the application form.
Application Charges: The application charges can be paid through
Challan Form in any branch of Corporation Bank. The amount of charges paid by
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ PWD/Visually Handicapped applicants is INR
725/- whereas for remaining categories, the amount applicable is INR 825/ -. The
total amount also includes the banking charges. Closing date for fee submission
is 02nd July, 2014.
Registration Criteria: The form will be accepted through online
manner by visiting the official website of Gujarat SET. The instructions for
online application should be read by the candidates before applying online. The
closing date for online registration is 05th of July, 2014. Pay the application fee and complete the
remaining formalities in the application form. Take the printout of the online
form and get it enclosed with the challan copy of the GSET, Caste Certificate,
Medical Certificate and Marriage Certificate and paste the latest photographs
on the available spaces. The enclosures along with the form should be put in
the envelope and submit it to the GSET Agency Office latest by 10th
July, 2014. Retain the one set of online
application form for future need.
Examination Scheme of GSET
2014:
The
paper will be objective type and consists of three papers. Paper 1 will have 60
questions out of which 50 questions should be attempted. The total marks
allotted on this section are 100. Paper 2 will also carry 100 marks for 50
questions and all are compulsory to attempt.
Paper 3 will have 75 compulsory questions and carry total marks 150.
