GCET Exam 2013-14:
Goa state
board of technical education came into existence with an application form
for the individuals who had certificate of their intermediate. The various
courses introduced are: MBBS, BDS, BE, B.Pharma, B.Arch, BHMS
etc.Eligible candidates can apply to the GCET exam for the admission in various
courses. For the info regarding the eligibility criteria, application form

Education Achievement:
Students must have passed intermediate through 60% in the science stream
including physics ,chemistry and maths.
Candidates
will be selected based on the common entrance test which contains objective
type questions.
The syllabus regarding the GCET is:
Mathematics
include following: subsets, The binomial theorem, Probability calculations,
Method of sampling, confidence level, Measurement of deviation, Measurement of
central tendencies, Logarithm, Linear and geometric functions, Limits of functions,
derivatives of functions, Integration, Differentiation.
Other Important Exams:
Physics
includes the following: Thermodynamics, Measurement, Oscillations, Optics,
Motion of System, Magnetic Effect of Current, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and
Power, Kinematics, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Electrostatics,
Electronic Devices, Electromagnetic Waves, Electromagnetic Induction, Dual
Nature of Matter and Radiation, Current Electricity, Communication System,
Kinetic Theory of Gases, Atoms and Nuclei.
Chemistry
includes the following: Thermodynamics, Surface Chemistry, Studies of elements,
Structure of Atom, States of matter, Redox reactions, Polymers, Periodicity in
Properties, Organic compounds containing nitrogen, Organic Chemistry, Hydrogen,
Hydrocarbons, Haloarenes and Haloalkanes, Isolation of elements, Equilibrium,
Environmental Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Coordination compounds,
Classification of elements, Chemistry in everyday life, Chemical Kinetics,
Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Bimolecular, Aldehydes, Ketones and
Carboxylic acids, Alcohols, phenols and Ethers.

Registration Form Criteria:
GCET
application form will be available from the Director of DTE Goa by sending a
DD(demand draft) of Rs.800 to the goa technical board of education which is
payable at panaji.
After
filling the application form, please send it to the address mention below:

Important dates:
Last day of
applying to the registeration:30/April/2013.
The results
of GCET exam will be declared in the month of June.
Hall Token
card will be issued as the date mention on their official website.
