AFCAT Exam 2015
AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) is being conducted by the Indian Air Force to select Officers in all branches of the Force (medical and dental are excluded) like Technical Branch, Flying Branch, Ground Duty Branch, etc. Get more update on recruitmentinfosite.com . This year the examination will be held on 13th of December, 2015. Candidates who are willing to apply for the concerned examination can apply online on or before 23rd of July, 2015. Details of AFCAT Exam 2015 :
Name of the Exam- AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test)
Name of the Branches-
1). Technical Branch
2). Flying Branch
3). Ground Duty Branch
Age Block as on 1st of July, 2015-
1). Technical Branch : 20 to 26 years
2). Flying Branch : 20 to 24 years
3). Ground Duty Branch : 20 to 26 years
Educational Eligibility- Candidates applying for the concerned examination should have obtained Graduation degree in any discipline from a known University / Institute.
Pattern of Examination- The question paper will be of two hours and total 100 multiple choice questions will be asked. The questions will be asked from subjects like-
1). Numerical Ability
2). Verbal Ability
3). Reasoning
4). General Awareness
5). Military Aptitude
Negative marking is applicable. For very correct answer 3 marks will be awarded and for every answer one mark will be deducted.
Criteria for Selection- Performance of applicants in the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) will be the basis of selection.

Candidates who are willing to apply for the concerned examination can apply online for the above mentioned examination by visiting the official web portal of Indian Air Force : indianairforce.nic.in . Candidates must visit the website and select the appropriate link to apply for the AFCAT examination and submit the completely filled online application form within the scheduled date and time.
