Minimum Academic Eligibility - Contenders should have obtained Graduation degree in Education or Diploma in the Elementary Education. Aspirants must possess all qualification mentioned by the National Council of Technical Education.

Pattern of Examination - The STET Exam will include two papers. Paper-I will be of 1 to 1 ½ hours and Paper-II will be of 1 to 1 ½ hours. Paper-I will be the for the candidates who wish to be Teachers of Class 1 to 5 and Paper-II will be for the candidates who wish to Teachers of Class 6 to 8.

Syllabus of Examination- The syllabus will be according to the rules laid down by the National Council of Technical Education.

Selection Criteria - Candidates who will obtain 60 per cent marks in the eligibility test will be selected.
