Specifics of the Exam :
Name of the Exam- Karnataka TET 2015
Academic Eligibility- Applicants must possess Senior Secondary / PUC with 50 per cent marks or B.Sc/ BA degree and Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or B.El.Ed.
Examination Pattern- The TET Examination is conducted in two parts, i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II. Both the papers are of 150 marks each and contain 150 questions (one question will carry one mark). Paper-I will be divided into 5 parts and Paper-II will be divided into 4 parts.
A). Paper-I :
i). Child Development and Pedagogy : 30 questions
ii). Language-I : 30 questions
iii). Language-II : 30 questions
iv). Mathematics : 30 questions
v). Environmental Studies : 30 questions
B). Paper-II :
i). Child Development and Pedagogy : 30 questions
ii). Language-I : 30 questions
iii). Language-II : 30 questions
iv). a). For Social Science & Mathematics teacher (Mathematics & Social Science) : 60 questions
b). For Social Science / Social Studies teacher (Social Science) / For any other teacher either (a) or (b) : 60 questions
