Procedure:
Please visit the URL: www.sscer.org to complete
the registration.
After completing the registration ,please send on
the address” Department of Personnel Training, 234/4 A.J.C Bose road, Nizam
palace, 1st MSO Building, 8th floor, Kolkata-700020 on or before 11-02-2013”.
Fee
Payable:
Applicants can pay Rs50/- by Central Recruitment
fee stamps(CRFS).CRFS is available on any post office all over country. The fee
stamp should be pasted on space available on application form. If fee stamp is
not sticked on application form, then your form will be rejected.
No fee will be charged for the SC/ST and woman
individuals.
Entrance
examination criteria:
SSC written test
includes the following:
General Intelligence:
It includes both verbal and non verbal questions. It comprises of the
following analogies, similarities and
differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving,
analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation,
relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification,
arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement
conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.
General Awareness:
It includes the fields form the History, Culture, Geography,
economic scene, General polity and scientific research etc.
Second Paper includes
the fields:
Mathematics: It
includes the following : number system, computation of whole numbers, decimals
and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical
operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and
loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio
and time etc.
The entrance examination will contain all objective type
questions.
The first paper and the second paper will be of 100 marks.
The duration of the examination is 2 hours.
Qualified candidates will be invited for an interview.
Interview will include mock test, panel interview ,group
discussion etc.
